Manager- Business Development

We are looking for a self-starter individual who will join our client as a Business Development Manager to grow the innovative and promising Traffic Engineering and Management technology solutions.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Diploma/ Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering;
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, account management, partner management or presales experience in Technology;
  • Strategic thinking, ability to forge strong relationships with key industry stakeholders / value chain partners;
  • Experience in new market development, managing industry, venture capitalists, and go to market strategies in new technology deployment;
  • Good understanding in forefront technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, IoT;
  • Experience in IT end-to-end procurement activities (i.e. budget approval, tender/quotation, purchase requisition, invoice tracking and verification);
  • Strong team player, effective at communicating internationally and used to working closely with remote teams;
  • Independent and able to manage projects, vendors and stakeholders with strong customer facing and communication skills;
  • Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
  • Self-driven, resourceful and result oriented.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Experience in business consulting;
  • Working knowledge of patents, copyrights and other forms of Intellectual Property rights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities by evaluating projects and technologies, potential markets, business partners and industry players;
  • To drive sales in the Traffic Engineering and Management related suit of applications services;
  • To identify new routes to expand and assess the maturity, viability and suitability of different technologies and their applicability to resolve industry traffic related problems;
  • Closely collaborate with cross-functional team to manage and align with the application services (tender) evaluation and sales quotation process;
  • Project managed the sales support (include both pre and post) and assist in planning and reporting activities to senior management;
  • Conduct revenue analysis and execute marketing efforts to improve sales revenue.
