We are looking for a Test Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the operation system through testing and continuous improvement and will work on Projects for a reputed bank.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Banking, Financial Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline;
- At least 1-3 years of experience in software Quality Assurance;
- Prior experience in Manual Testing, UAT or similar roles;
- In-depth understanding of testing methodologies and practices;
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work both independently and within a team with good inter-personal skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Has proficiency in testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Appium;
- Certified in ISTQB and CSTE.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and execute test cases while preparing and creating comprehensive test data;
- Utilize in-house GenAI tools to streamline and enhance the creation and enrichment of test cases;
- Ensure timely execution of test runs and completion of test results within established deadlines;
- Develop and implement test plans to validate software functionality against defined requirements and specifications;
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, ensuring effective resolution;
- Conduct various testing types, including functional, performance, security, and regression testing, on software products;
- Communicate test outcomes and identified defects to development teams and relevant stakeholders, collaborating on resolutions;
- Offer suggestions and constructive feedback to improve the software development process and overall quality;
- Work closely with the Testing Centre of Excellence (COE) to refine testing processes and establish standardized testing practices across operations.
