We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced C++/C# Developer to be a part of Global Financial Markets (GFM) team and work as Front Office quant developer.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, AI, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field.
- Strong skills in object-oriented programming languages, particularly C++ or C#.
- Experience in driving end to end SIT/UAT/Prod defects;
- Experience with relational database systems (e.g. SQL);
- Must have working experience as a quant developer;
- Strong communication and analytical abilities are necessary to collaborate effectively and solve complex problems;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, front-office trading environment with tight deadlines;
- Good at communicating and presenting technical information in a clear and unambiguous manner;
- Strong ability to work independently and cooperate with diverse teams in a multiple stakeholders environment.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Knowledge or experience with distributed computing technologies such as AWS, Microservices, API, Redis, and Linux.
- Experience with source control, continuous integration, and profiling tools.
- Familiarity with financial engineering concepts.
Responsibilities
- Build and Improve Systems: Create and upgrade pricing engines and other tools using modern technologies like APIs, cloud services, and microservices to support trading activities.
- Write and refine code for features, applications, and APIs using languages such as C#, Python, C++, and SQL to enhance trading operations.
- Troubleshoot and fix any problems in the system across various stages (testing and production) to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Work on optimizing the performance of trading models and systems to make them faster and more efficient.
- Oversee the entire software development process, from planning and coding to deploying and maintaining the systems.
- Work closely with traders and quantitative analysts directly on the trading floor to understand their needs and provide technical support.
- Coordinate with the bank’s IT teams to ensure that all systems integrate well with existing infrastructure and meet technical requirements.
- Keep up with the latest technological advancements and financial trends to continually improve and update trading systems.
