Our client, an established global bank is looking for an enthusiastic Data Engineer to join their team.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field;
- At least 4 years of working experience in data engineering, ETL IBM DataStage tool;
- Proficient in Linux (Bash) scripting, Unix scripting, PL/SQL and Data Modelling for Informational platforms;
- Proven technical experience in Oracle RDBMS, tables, views, indexing, tuning and data types;
- Understand data processing techniques;
- Proficient with data modelling in relational databases;
- Has experience in developing test cases and executing automation tests;
- Knowledgeable in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Ansible;
- Has knowledge in issue trackers such as ServiceNow or Azure Boards;
- Has experience working under Agile / Scrum methodologies;
- Self motivated with enthusiasm to learn new skillsets;
- Independent, yet a good team player;
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Prior experience working in lending business domain.
Responsibilities
- Design, development of ETL processes and modelling informational solutions;
- Work closely with other members to ensure all tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Develop integrations using SQL on RDBMS;
- Involved in performing advanced SQL queries to support data integration;
- Responsible for assisting in developing testing automation strategies;
- Involved in unit test and system integration testing;
- Utilize CI/CD pipeline to implement solutions;
- Advise solutions for production issues;
